360° breathing really sets the foundation for everything you will do during our Pre/Postnatal Program. It activates the entire core creating a “pump” like mechanism that will help you better push during delivery and help you recover faster. Watch this video to find out how to properly perform 360° breathing and practice 2-3 times per day. Start in a sitting position then progress to standing, then quadruped. We will teach you how to incorporate this during exercise at each stage to prepare you for the biggest athletic event of your life.
Besides 360° breathing, the other essential core activation technique to master is pelvic floor activations. The pelvic floor (PF) must be strong enough to support all the additional weight of the growing belly and uterus. They must also be able to fully relax and lengthen for delivery. In our pre/postnatal program, we will teach you out to couple proper breathing with pelvic floor activations to increase your chances of a better labor, delivery and postpartum experience.
